Behold. Before and after pictures of our room, as well as some extras!

Notice that our bed is in front of a door. We decided to put it in that corner to save space and to mainly use our private stair entrance.

My first addition to the hostel's decor...pumpkins!

Lastly, okra and tomatoes. Kevin and I were craving a taste of home, so we used okra from my grandfather's garden (that somehow made it from Louisiana to Indiana and stayed fresh) and cooked up a spicy, yummy meal.

  1. Excited about the pictures! it looks great! Wow what a transformation. Love the cotton! It looks very cozy! The food looked yummy too. I can't believe the okra was still fresh. The hostile looked very nice the grass is so green. Hope your first day was good. Miss you both!! love momcindy

  2. I can see why that orange and yellow HAD TO GO. It is an extreme makeover, to be sure! The Louisiana cotton is a nice touch. Keep some Steen's cane syrup and Community coffee in your cubbard and all will be well. The wreath on your door is beautiful. Love, Granny E
